Investing 4 Dummies

This blog will track my strategy for investing. In simple terms, I plan to communicate what I think is happening in the market and why. As a measure of performance, I will use one of my traditional IRA accounts at Fidelity Investments. It had a value of $355,000 On January 1, 2006 and $382,000 today, July 2, 2006, the day I started this blog.

2 many biscuits

I was watching the talking heads on CNBC Friday and the thought came to me that there is a battle going on right now between those who have all the biscuits and those trying to get the biscuits. Those those that have all the biscuits want the "Big Dog" (Bernanke) to keep them hard to get. (strong dollar, low inflation, steady growth in demand). This keeps those that have the biscuits very important and powerfull.

Those trying to get the biscuits want this bernake dude to keep it easy and cheap to get the biscuits (make more and keep interest rates low).

It appears we are getting to the point where there are too many biscuits and not enough dogs.

To be continued....
